Privacy Notice for the Use of Google Analytics:
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files stored on your computer and allow analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within the EU or other parties to the EEA Agreement beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the website operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website usage and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, please note that doing so may prevent you from using all features of this website. You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
For more information, please visit www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html or https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.
General Note: To manage your privacy settings with Google, please visit:
https://myaccount.google.com/
Google may also process your data in the USA. We point out that, according to the European Court of Justice, there is currently no adequate level of protection for data transfers to the USA. This may pose various risks to the legality and security of data processing.
Google Ads Conversion Tracking:
This website also uses Google Conversion Tracking. In this process, a cookie is set on the visitor’s device by Google Ads if the visitor has reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the website of the Ads customer and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. Each Ads customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of Ads customers. The information collected with the help of the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. The Ads customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that could personally identify users. If a visitor does not wish to participate in the tracking process, they can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this purpose — for example, by configuring their browser to generally disable the automatic setting of cookies. The visitor can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting their browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com.” Google’s privacy policy regarding conversion tracking can be viewed here.
Google processes your data, among other locations, also in the United States. We would like to point out that, according to the European Court of Justice, there is currently no adequate level of data protection for transfers to the United States. This may involve various risks for the legality and security of data processing.
Facebook Remarketing, Retargeting and Pixel:
The Facebook app is a product of Meta Platforms (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland). The other products are now also operated by Meta Platforms.
Meta also processes your data, among other locations, in the United States. We would like to point out that, according to the European Court of Justice, there is currently no adequate level of data protection for data transfers to the United States. This may involve various risks regarding the legality and security of data processing.
When you visit our pages, a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server is established after you have given your consent via the remarketing tags. This allows Facebook to receive the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. As a result, Facebook can associate the visit to our pages with your user account. We may use the information obtained in this way to display Facebook Ads. Please note that, as the provider of the pages, we do not have any knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or how it is used by Facebook.
Since the renaming of Facebook Ireland Limited to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited became effective on January 4, 2022, this is also reflected in the currently applicable privacy policy: https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php
